Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and Stage It covering your use of the website, the staging editor and any credits or subscriptions you buy.

Last updated August 10, 2026 · Questions: support@stageit.app

1. The service

Stage It lets you upload photographs of real property, position 3D furniture inside the photo, and generate rendered staging images with AI. The rendered output is an illustrative visualisation — it does not represent furniture, fixtures or finishes that are physically present in the property.

2. Your account

You need an account to stage photos. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Do not share your account with people who should not see your listings or renders. Notify us at support@stageit.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Credits, plans and payment

Renders are paid for with credits. Credits can be bought as one-time packs or included with a monthly plan. One credit covers one successful render or twilight conversion. Plan credits are granted each billing period; pack credits do not expire. Payments are processed by our payment provider — we never store your full card details.

Billing, cancellation and refund handling are described in the Refunds & Billing policy.

4. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photographs you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process them so we can provide the service — generating renders, saving your scenes and delivering downloads. You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo and to have it modified, including any rights held by the photographer or property owner.

5. Rendered output

You may use the images you generate for marketing the property they depict, including listing sites, brochures and social media, subject to the disclosure rule below. We do not claim ownership of your renders. AI models can produce imperfect or unexpected results; review every image before publishing it.

6. Mandatory disclosure of virtual staging

Many real-estate boards, MLS rules and consumer-protection laws require virtually staged photos to be clearly labelled. You are responsible for disclosing that an image was virtually staged wherever you publish it, and for complying with the rules of your MLS, brokerage and jurisdiction. Never use Stage It to conceal property defects or to imply that furnishings, upgrades or repairs exist when they do not.

7. Prohibited use

Use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use policy. We may suspend or close an account that violates it, that attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or that is used for unlawful activity.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features, model providers and pricing can change; material changes to pricing take effect at your next renewal. We may update these terms and will post the new date at the top of this page.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or claims arising from how you publish or describe a staged image. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and cancel a plan from Settings. You may request deletion of your account and stored images by emailing support@stageit.app. Unused credits are forfeited on account closure unless required otherwise by law.
